COVID-19, particularly the Delta variant, is highly infectious. Pregnant individuals are at a higher risk of getting severely ill from COVID-19. AHS continues to strongly urge those who are pregnant, trying to become pregnant, or have recently delivered, to get both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine as soon as possible.
