Incredible Years

The Incredible Years parent training series is an Evidence Based Program that focuses on strengthening parenting competencies (e.g., monitoring, positive discipline, confidence) and fostering parent’ involvement in children’s school experiences to promote academic, social and emotional competencies and reduce conduct problems. In collaboration with Alberta Health Services Staff, this program is for parents aged 5-12.

Parent Advisory Committee (PAC)

Parent involvement at Norwood is so important. We believe in fostering a sense of program ownership with the families we work with.

Our Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) is a group of parents that supports Norwood programs and activities. PAC meets once a month. You will plan and deliver agency events and activities. Our Mother’s Day and Father’s Day celebrations are organized by our PAC team.

You will discuss the direction of Norwood programs, make a positive impact and foster a strong sense of community.
It is fun and a great way to meet other families in the community. (8.3)
